Tap Into Potential (TIP) integrates a broad spectrum of safe and effective techniques that I have used with my patients*. The skeletal, muscular, immune, lymphatic, cardiovascular, urinary, digestive, respiratory, nervous, endocrine and reproductive systems are all enhanced by TIP. Tap Into Potential empowers people to accelerate their journey toward wholeness and away from disease and self-limitation. TIP brings focus, clarity, confidence and strength. You can use TIP to enhance the health of your skin, bones, joints, organs, mind, will and emotions, and/or reprogram negative thought patterns and self-destructive attitudes. I have known people, for example, who have overcome self-hate and addictions using TIP. I have known people who received relief from physical ailments and who reduced stress using TIP. I have helped patients eliminate fears of flying, fears of confrontation, fears of taking risks and fears of the unknown. Still TIP is not a magic cure-all. It is one very important part of a balanced, proactive, healthy, natural lifestyle. TIP involves tapping your fingertips onto specific points on your body while making positive affirmations (vocally or in your thoughts) of health or healing.
Tapping should be firm but not hard enough to cause pain. Begin tapping in the temple region while making positive affirmations. You may also tap with each hand simultaneously in different locations. For example, you might make the following statements to address a bad habit or negative thought while tapping:
“From now on, I will exchange (e.g., “my cravings for sweets”) for healthy choices like (e.g., “whole foods”). I am trading my bad desires for good ones. I am losing my bad desires and habits. This is the new, beautiful me. I am already receiving the wonderful benefits of my good choices.”
New personal, relevant thoughts will come to you as you tap. Doors of new insight will open, revealing deeper revelations into yourself. Allow your new creative thoughts to take you as far as you want to go. If you want to grow, tap. Don’t wait to learn the “proper” technique. Tap in whatever way feels right to you and expect positive results. Tap each and every day. When in doubt, tap it out. And remember, this is merely an introduction to a complex topic that can help guide all your lifestyle choices as they apply to the Eight Essentials.
